Application for Plot 9 Submitted - November 2023

Following several months developing detailed designs in consultation with Peabody, the Royal Borough of Greenwich and local people, Berkeley has now submitted a Reserved Matters Application (Ref: 23/3862/R) to seek approval for the appearance, landscaping, layout and scale of Plot 9.

Plot 9 is at the heart of the Lombard Square masterplan, fronting onto the central Four Seasons Park and has an architectural relationship with Plot 2 opposite. With quality design at the forefront of our vision and approach, Plot 9 retains the ‘Peabody Mansion Block’ typology and unique architectural features which mirror those across the development.

In keeping with the wider masterplan, a landscaping strategy teeming with life and biodiversity has been prepared to provide residents with an eco-system on their doorstep. Pockets of communal areas and playspace will be incorporated amongst lush planting and will create tranquil and accessible green spaces for residents, enhancing the sense of community and well-being.

In total Plot 9 shall deliver 326 high quality new homes. The application does not seek to amend the total number of homes across the masterplan maintaining this at 1,913 homes including 765 affordable homes.
