Peabody is one of the largest and oldest housing associations in London. We are still governed by a core mission and priorities which reflect the values held by our founder, George Peabody in the 1800s.

Our mission is to help people make the most of their lives by providing good quality homes, working with communities and promoting wellbeing.

In The Royal Borough of Greenwich, Peabody is the main landowner at Thamesmead and is leading the regeneration programme which will see £1billion invested in the area to create high-quality new homes, green open spaces and develop significant new infrastructure to benefit both new and existing residents.

We work together with trusted partners to tackle the shortage of good quality homes and work spaces and to make them more affordable for everyone.
